Casting a Gold Ingot
December 17, 2008 on 4:07 pm | In Our Workshop | 1 CommentWhen we have sufficient waste gold from our jewellery creations – filings, cut-off scraps etc – Fabio will melt them down into a gold ingot.
It is quite an amazing thing to see a gold ingot forming in front of you own eyes. They are normally the kind of thing most of us only see on 007 James Bond or action-packed bank heist films!

Hi Donna, nice start to the blog and good to see a bit of the working process. Mel and I always thought vacuuming was overated! Makes recycling all the more sensible.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2009.
